Message from CEO, Brock Macdonald
"Every non-profit has its mission, its purpose, its raison d'être by which it is defined. Since 1974, RCBC and its members have worked towards the elimination of waste as our common goal. It has been a long time on a long road, and our work is not yet done. Every year, we gather this diverse community of professionals whose collective vision is a world without waste. In that moment, we share our knowledge and expertise, our successes and failures, provide mutual support, and continue our journey along the path towards a sustainable, zero-waste future.
We cannot do this alone. Whether it’s a session focused on circular economy principles or an opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch, your contribution is what makes this conference happen. Your continued participation and generosity not only provides a quality experience for delegates, it also enables RCBC to continue its work throughout the year. Without you, we could not provide the public education services that are so needed by our fellow citizens throughout the province to make our mission a reality in the years to come.
For giving us the opportunity to reduce waste in British Columbia, we thank you one and all."
